"Wayne tutored my daughter in Grade 12 calculus in preparation for her final exam. He responded quickly to our communication, used practice material to aid in understanding, and was highly supportive. We were very pleased with his teaching methods, would use his tutoring service again (if available) and recommend him highly!

Leanne got an exam mark of 80%, bumping her final mark up to 77%! The teacher thought her exam preparation was terrific!"

I belong to a study group that works on various aspects of math and physics, from high school through college level. Wayne has done a number of tutorials for the group over the past four years. His instruction was always very clear and detailed, and I've learned a lot from his lectures!
Mike W., Student, Vancouver BC
"I've enjoyed Wayne as a fellow member of a physics study group for interested adults. He has a grasp of complicated topics in both physics and math, and can be counted on to provide clear and helpful explanations when needed.
In presentations he's done for our group, he has demonstrated a wonderfully calm and patient demeanor, as well as the ability to organize material and present it coherently. If you're looking for a truly knowledgeable math or physics tutor, Wayne would be a great choice."

"My daughter, Nicole had the pleasure of having Wayne as her tutor for grade 12 physics. Wayne was very professional, considerate, understanding, patient, and helped to build my daughterÂ’s confidence. She came to understand many concepts where she was having difficulty and without Wayne'Â’s assistance would not have been successful in passing the course.
He was able to teach and explain concepts to her at her level in order for her to grasp what was being taught. He had an excellent rapport with Nicole which made her feel very comfortable and as a result assisted her in understanding what was being covered during their sessions together. I would highly recommend Wayne as a tutor, he has the qualities which make him an excellent teacher."
- Cindy L., Parent, Hamilton Mountain
I attended a lecture series presented by Wayne concerning “The Representation Theory of Finite Groups”. This advanced mathematical topic is central to many aspects of modern mathematics, mathematical physics, communication engineering, and many other fields. Wayne’s presentations were superb due to their rigour, clarity, and depth. Among the positive attributes of his presentations, I was particularly impressed with Wayne’s ability to help with learning of the material through the presentation of simple, worked-out examples illustrating the important concepts. His examples were presented with the modern computer tools SageMath computer algebra system, the Python computer language and Jupyter notebooks which he skillfully deployed. I even learned a lot about these tools from Wayne’s presentations. Furthermore, Wayne was personable and responsive during the presentation sessions.
I heartily recommend Wayne in regards to his knowledge and skills as an educator.
